 imaginary error finction erfi(x) available?

Operating System: XP

I need to use the imaginary error function in fitting routines. As far as I can see, it is not available in origin/labtalk/originC. It is defined as erfi(z)= -i*erf(iz), and on the real axis it delivers real values according to erfi(x)= (2/sqrt(pi))*integr(exp(t^2) dt).
the limits of the integral extend from zero to x.

What would be the best way to make the function available for use? (Origin 5.0 preferred for compatibility with older scripts, but am of course willing to tune up to O7.5 if necessary)

Hello Kai,

In your definition, z is a pure imaginary number? otherwise, the erfi(z) function involves an integration from zero to a complex number...
