Hallo,

I found two topics in the forum about Origin 7 and MySQL ODBC issues. We have now Origin 7.5 and try to connect Origin with MySQL via ODBC. (Other ODBC connnetions are running).
The patches we have found on the web are installed. But the ODBC connection does not work. As previousely described the Database as well as the tables can be found by Origin. I also can check the content I would like to import but when I activate the import Origin does end with an error message and the programm will be closed automatically.

Do you see a solution for this issue?

Thanks,

Hobba

Hi Greg,

How does this 'known' limitation arise?

Cheers,

pete

I tested Origin 7SR4 and Origin 7.5SR5 using MySQL v3.23.51 and MyODBC v3.51.11 and encountered no problems importing other than the known limitation of 200000 rows of data.
