Hi

I have following problem while importing ASCII Files into Origin:

I import 215 coloums into Origin from a .csv file. Most of the headers are shown correctly, but some few are numbered like C104 instead of Text
text
But only some of them, while the .csv file is formated all the same. Even similar names of headers are sometimes converted by the import filter but some not.

Thanks for any advice to find the solution
Richard

Hi Richard,

My guess is that there are duplicate column headers in the file. Duplicate column names are not allowed in an Origin wks and will be renamed to something legal.
