Hi, I drew a graph of biological data set which has error bars actually. First, I tried to fit the data set including error bars, however the fitting was not successful. Later on, I tried to fit by excluding the error bars, and this time, the fitting was successful. Although the fitting is successful, I could not add the error bars to the fitted curve. Do you have any idea how I can solve this problem? Including both the error bars and the fitting curve together? If you can help, I would appreciate.

Posted - 06/05/2018 : 10:42:17 AM Hi,
You may want to check that none of your error values are 0 or -- (missing value). The default weighting scheme for Nonlinear fitting in Origin will not like 0's or missing values.
If that is the case, you may consider replacing the 0's and missing values with an extremely small value close to 0 such as 1E-6.
Does that help? If not, perhaps you can send your project file to tech@originlab.com for us to take a look at. Please refer to this forum post in your email.
