Hello everyone,
I would like to read and analyze DSC (differential scanning calorimetry) data with Origin, and perform operations like baseline subtraction, peak fitting and integration with function specifically designed for DSC data.
Is there any add-on to do this easily? I have learnt that Origin was born as a software to process calorimetry data from Microcal calorimeters, so I guess that this operations are still possible. However, I cannot find the tool/add-on I need.
Is there anyone who can help me?

It would be nice to have the option to have new sheets created for the different segments, but otherwise I'm happy with my first try!

We had developed an App for separating the multiple branches of data, and we did not publish it yet as we were looking for more user input.

Hi,
I also want to analyze DSC data.
I found the peak analysis tools, but I think I need to analyze the heating and cooling parts of the curve separately to avoid problems with the tool. Is there an easy and automatic way to have Origin split my data at the maximum and minimum temperature values? Also if I ran several temperature cycles and the data are stored in the same file?
Giuli, have you found a convenient way to do this? Or can anyone else help me, please?

Hi Giuli,
There is the Peak Analyzer feature.
Select your data or graph and select Analysis -> Peak and Baseline -> Peak Analyzer. Here you can conduct peak fitting, integration, and baseline subtraction.
