I am trying to fit my data with a built fitting function (y= R0-exp(-(ks*t)^kl))

When I fit sample 1 data using the equation above the model cannot fit the data (Fit Status code -207 Fit did not converge – reason unknown).

However, when I fit the sample 1 data using the same equation after successfully fitting sample 2 data using the recalculated mode :Auto, the fitting succeeded.
Please what can be the possible reason for this outcome.

Why sample 1 data can only fit after replacing the data of sample 2 previously fitted using recalculated mode auto?.

Sincerely.

You should have provided a reasonable initialization of parameters for sample 1.

Show your both samples and parameter initializing code.
