Dear All, I have downloaded and installed the Slope Analyzer App, which is potentially very useful to me. However I can't seem to figure out how to change the X-column used. I can scroll through all Y-columns, but their rate-of-change is calculated with respect to some default X-column, which in my case I am not interested in.
can anyone help?
thanks in advance, bart |

Posted - 09/12/2018 : 8:03:53 PM thanks Easwar,
it was as mind-numbingly simple as using a right click to set a column to 'X'. I didnt know this....still discovering lots of new tricks in Origin every day!
cheers, bart |

Posted - 09/12/2018 : 08:56:30 AM Hi Bart,
How is your data organized in the sheet? Are the columns designated as XYYYY... or XYXYXY....? Or do you mean you have no X column but you know the start and step value for time?
The App uses Sampling Interval (start and step time value) if available in the Y column. If there is no sampling interval, it looks to the left of the Y column to find the nearest X and uses that.
To set sampling interval (if that is what you want), you can select one or more Y columns and right-click, and from the context menu select "Set Sampling Interval".
Perhaps you can post a picture of your worksheet here, or send your worksheet/project to tech@originlab.com and refer to this post in your e-mail.
