Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 2017
Operating System: b9.4.0.220

As I am trying to copy and paste data from excel into origin, some of the data will turn into #######. Not all of the data is changed but a majority of the entries are.

I'm new to origin so I'm not sure if this is a setting error or if I'm copying/pasting wrong.

Thank you!!

Hi,

This means that you need to make the column wider to display the value of your data in the cell. To make the column wider move the mouse on the line in between col(A) and col(B) (at the top). You can either double click or drag.

See the image below how the values are no longer shown as #### once I made the column wider.

Thanks
Aviel
