I have several moderation graphs from Word/Excel that I want to import into Origin, but they are not being recognised as graphs.

So I am trying to draw the moderation graphs again in Origin from the data, however I can't see how to input the data so it is picked up correctly - i.e. a column is needed for X, W, and Y, as W interacts with the X -> Y relationship.

Does anyone have any experience on this or advice for drawing moderation interaction graphs in Origin?

Thanks, Helen

Hi Hideo Fujii,
Thank you very much for your help - that was the correct graph and I have managed to draw it now in the XYYY format.
Thanks again,
Helen

Hi Helen,

When you said "moderation graphs", did you mean a graph like this graph (from google search)?
https://psychology.victoria.ac.nz/helpcentre/help5_moderation_example.php

Then, you can make a usual multi-plot Line+Symbol graph from worksheet columns organized
as XYYY with W data in the Comments header rows.

If this is not the graph what you are seeking, may be you can paste the screenshot of your
Excel graphs here so that people may be able to suggest in different ways.
