Hi, I have a worksheet, A (x) and B (y) with 1040 points.
I would like to draw different pairs of points with different colors. For example from 1 to 104 in blue, from 105 to 209 in red, etc etc ....

Hi daniele90,
It seems that you have chosen "Map:col(C)" (for color mapping with color scaling) instead of
"Index:col(C)". Please recheck. (Color mapping is useful for the smooth color transition using
palette for e.g., in contour plot.)
One correction, when you choose color indexing, the coloring is controlled by the color list
which was also shown in the Color Chooser. Its default is "Q13 Color4Line" in recent versions.
You can change it to other color list there, or modify from the "Color List" tab in the Plot Details
dialog.

thank you so much, now I can draw a multicolored chart.
but I get this correspondence between numbers and colors:
1---->red,
2--->yellow,
3---->cyan,
4----> blue..
different from the one in the link:

Hi daniele90,
You can apply "indexing" coloring to the data plot by referring to the extra data column. So, when you have
a plot from A(X) and B(Y), first make an extra column C in the worksheet, and enter the color values as
1=BLACK, 2=RED, etc. (see https://www.originlab.com/doc/LabTalk/ref/List-of-Colors) in this column.
Then, double-click the plot to open the Plot Details dialog. Select "Line" tab (or "Symbol" tab for symbols),
and for Color, you can set Index:col(C) in the "Color Chooser". Origin will assign the colors according
