I would like to do a least squares fit such that: total area of A + B + C = total area of D + E + F Is their a way of fitting them all simultaneously to match this constraint? Very grateful for any advice. [:)] Thanks, Chloe [/quote]

Hello Origin friends,
I have 6 peaks, A, B, C, D, E, F
I would like to fit them each with a simple Gaussian (for example) in order to obtain the integrated area under the curve.
I would like to do a least squares fit such that:
total area of A + B + C = total area of D + E + F
Is their a way of fitting them all simultaneously to match this constraint?
Very grateful for any advice.
Thanks,
Chloe
