Origin Ver.2016 and Service Release SR2
Operating System:Windows 10

I have two text boxes in a graph with the same content. Both are set to 24 pt font and both are Attached to the Page and are Default Arial. But they are different sizes. I can get them to be roughly the same size with the handles on the box but shouldnt they automatically be the same size with the same font? What am I missing?

Hi,

If you set Attach to to Layer and Scales, the text size will change with the layer when layer is resized. you can select the text object and check the actual text font size on the status bar on the bottom left of Origin main window.

Thanks for your reply. I think I have solved it. I needed to go to "Programming Control" for each text box and under "Attach to" click the button for "Layer and Scales". I had tried "Page" and "Layer Frame" without success. I do not understand this but I don't know why I did not try it earlier.

Hi,

Can you go to the Properties dialog of the text object, and check if the texts are the same in the box. There could be syntax like
\p50() which controls the inline text size. Thank you.

James
