Hello,

is it possible to save a wks-template with data in one column,
so whenever I open a new file with this template I have the
data in this column?
If not, is there a way to access data from one wks in
another wks via the "set column values" function?
When I import data with a template, how can I get origin
to calculat the values according to the formular I saved
in the template?

And another small question, if I do multiple ASCII import,
is there a way to set the standard to "Import into new wks"
instead of "import into new column"? I donĀ“t want to change
it each and every time.

Cheers
Tobias

1> You can't save data with a template. Select Tools > Worksheet Script, enter the formula as proper LabTalk commands, check the Run Script Automatically after Import option and click the Update button. Then select File > Save Template As.

2> Press the Control and Shift keys while you select File > Import > Multiple ASCII. That will open the script file FILE.ogs in CodeBuilder and place the cursor at the [MultiImportWKS] section. The first line of that section is run.section(,Init);. Insert FDLOG.MultiOpen.ComboSel=1; as the second line. First few lines should look like this...

[MultiImportWKS]
run.section(,Init);
FDLOG.MultiOpen.ComboSel=1;
if(FDLOG.multiopen.sort==0)
{
