Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 7.5 SR5
Operating System: XP Prof Hungarian version

We have origin installed on two computers and lately the same annoying things have occured: After opening an origin graph, the axes and the labels are missing. Closing and re-opening the project sometimes help, but this is not always the case. We are beyond a firewall, virus protection and spyware protection is running. What could be the problem?

Thanks: Oszkoa

What about Origin 7 users who are having this problem?

Dear Oszkoa,

It's not clear to me if you downloaded the updated Origin DLL (OUTL60.DLL) as recommended in the technical support knowledge base item? All Origin 7.5 users who are experiencing this problem should download the new DLL and save it to your Origin 7.5 program folder, replacing the previous DLL. Then restart Origin.

Dear Barb Tobias,

Thank you for your hint. The printer driver can really be the suspect, since all machines share a HP 2300d printer, and we have severe problems with printing in the last couple of days. Though the driver has been reinstalled on the computer to which it is physically connected, it seems that it did not solve all problems.

Best regards,
Oszkoa

Dear Oszkoa,

This is most likely due to a problem between Origin and the default printer driver. The solution is to download a replacement Origin DLL. This technical support kbase item discusses the problem and solution.
