I am working on Financial Time Series and I would like to link origin to Internet explorer so that it can download online data from Yahoo and updates origin by itself.Origin supports COM but i do not know how to link it to internet and take online data.
It would be great if someone could guied me to do that.

As a starting point, you may want to check the example here:
<Origin root folder>\Samples\AutomationServer\VC\SendNumericDataToWks
This exmample demonstrates how to put and get data from Origin worksheets in VC program. Then you need to write your own codes to acess internet and get online data.
