Hi. I´m having trouble for clipping data to the frame of a 3D Waterfall graph. After selecting Format:Layer and the Display tab, the Clip Data to Frame option appears shaded and I cannot click on it. So is the XY Clipping option in the Miscelaneous tab.
What can I do to clip the data to the frame?
Thanks.

Hi Florencia,

As you noted, the Clip Data to Frame control is disabled for 3D Waterfall graphs. You really shouldn't need it. I am guessing that you might have created your waterfall plot, then changed the X axis scale range. That could cause your plots to extend beyond the end of the axis scale.

If that is what you did, I would suggest selecting just a range of your worksheet data or -- if your datasets are large and this seems impractical -- extracting the desired subset of your worksheet data to a second worksheet (Analysis:Extract Worksheet Data with the worksheet active), then replotting.

I hope that this helps you.

Mike
