Posted - 12/13/2018 : 06:56:49 AM Hi all,
I have recently installed the OriginPro 2017 and now in all my contour plots which I had prepared with a previous Origin version, the black line showing the boundary of my contour line data has dissapeared! Even though I try to apply it once again from the plot properties, nothing seems to happen.
Any ideas on how to solve this and make the boundary appear once again in my contour plots?
Thanks in advance!
Cheers, Dim |

Posted - 12/13/2018 : 2:59:06 PM Hi,
We added a system variable since Origin 2015 to control how the missing values in matrix are dealt with in contour. It will affect your boundary since all values outside are missing values. To show the boundary line, you can go to menu Options: System Variables... Enter system variable cmt and change its value to 0, then reopen your opj file. Then you should be able to see the boundary.
Thank you, James |

Unfortunately I can't as this is my work laptop and I am not able to install new software. I will send you a sample of my contour plot via mail to see if you can come up with a solution.

Could you please try Origin 2019 to see if the issue is solved? https://www.originlab.com/demodownload.aspx If not, please send a sample of your graph to <tech@originlab.com> for us to check further. Thank you.
