Hello,

I have a rather basic problem. I want to calculate cells like in Excel. For example I want to write in cell 1 of column C: =A1+B1. I saw in a tutorial that it should work like that, but Origin does not calculate anything. The cell C1 just states "=A1+B1". Can please somebody tell me what my mistake is?

Hi,

You mistake is... No, you didn't make a mistake. You simply need a newer version of Origin!

Cell formulae were introduced in Origin 2018.

You can download a trial of our latest version- Origin 2019- and give it a try.

Thanks,
Chris Drozdowski
