Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): Pro 2016 b9.3.2.303
Operating System: Windows 7

I'm trying to fit a single curve/model to a data set that usually follows a sudden exponential growth (over a few seconds) following by a slower exponential decay.

I was wondering if anyone could help me with a particular model to fit this in origin or if not to create the model.

Hi Jim,

Origin 2016 provides a built-in fitting function ExpGrowDec in Exponential category. You can try it.

Thanks.
Sam

Hi

Thanks for sending that but unfortunately I am limtied to 9.3 2016 version of origin and can't upgrade. Is there any other way to import this function? Can it be described and I'll add it?

Thanks
Jim

Hi,

Would you please try this piecewise fit app?
