Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: Origin 2019

Creating simple line + symbol plots. Some of the plots the data points on the plot line up directly with the x axis tick marks and other plots the data points are centered between the x axis tick marks. I can't figure out where the setting is to get the data points and axis tick marks to line up? What am I doing wrong?

Hi JEKaldy3,

I only can imagine this happens in a waterfall graph in the 3D view. In general, data points should align to the X positions of their X values.

So, if you have the problem about the mismatches of X values and X positions, please send us the project(tech@originlab.com) file and give us a detailed explanation.

Thanks,
Shirley
