Hello
I have installing Origin 2018b at serveral Windows 10 PCs (fresh installed one's) I get an error message that the file mfc110u.dll is missing. I have tried the install Visual C++ Redistributable Visual Studio 2012, but this did not help.
I figured out at another PC, that in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 the files mfc110u.dll and vcomp110.dll are missing. But it is a fresh installed Windows 10 PC.
If I copy both files from a Windows 7 PC, Origin is running fine. Should the origin installation not install all files which are needed?
Any help, what I can do? Is somebody here from the OriginLab support to answer this question?
best regards

thanks for the answer. Could it be, that if you install the 32 Bit version of the program at a 64 Bit Windows 10 PC that this is the reason for the missing dll's? Thes kind of dll's can existing in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 as well as in C:\Windows\System32

Posted - 06/14/2019 : 06:34:58 AM Hi,
I am afraid we are not sure why your machine would miss these dll files.
I think you just need to re-download the Microsoft DLL file and put it into your machine.
Also, you can refer to this help page: https://www.originlab.com/doc/Quick-Help/Resolve-Missing-DLL
