Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 2019b, 9.6.5.169 (Academic)
Operating System: W10

Hi,

is there a way to copy and/or apply the export-margin-offsets to other graphs? Even using "Copy Format -->All" it won't work. Anyway, I solely want to copy the export-margin-offsets.

Greetings

PS: I wanted to link the Origin Help entry referring to the topic but the forum won't let me due to spam reason. oO I removed it and the forum still claimed that I wanted to spam, so I had to logout and login multiple times. This forum needs an update.

Fit Layers to Page didn't work? You can just loop all your graphs to set to same page size, then do Fit Layers to Page, so they will all be consistent.

There is currently no way to copy or automate the export-margin-offsets in Origin 2019b. We will look into adding that to our upcoming Origin 2020 release.

Dear Chris,

have you implemented such a feature in Origin 2020?

Dear Chris,

thank you for the offer. Unfortunately, my data is confidential. But I'll promise to provide you with a project file once I can reproduce the problem. I didn't use the function for a while due to the aforementioned issues.

Greetings

Hi,

Can you send an email to tech@originlab.com? We'd like to see how those features fail you and might like an example OPJU file from you to test with ourselves.

Mention this forum post in the email.

Thanks,

Hi,

thanks for the answer and the plans to integrate this feature. I knew that you'd tell me about the 'Fit Page to Layers / Fit Layers to Page' function. Unfortunately, this function doesn't always do as supposed to, so I look forward on integrating my wish. ;)

Greetings

Hi Chris,

the former. I trim excess white space and export the graphs to PowerPoint. For continuity and readability reasons, all graphs must have the same sizes, thus export margin offsets.

In addition, a function which automatically trims excess white space to the minimum margin possible, would be very much appreciated.

Greetings

Hi,

Are you using Export Margin offsets to simple "trim" excess white space from around the graphs or are you wanted to select a specific region of every graph?

Thanks,
