I cannot seem to export a 3D plot to have a transparent background. I have typically with a 2D plot you can "ctrl+j" and paste it into powerpoint with a transparent background.

I cannot even push a colored box behind the data points on the 3D plot using the "push behind data" or "send back" buttons.

Is there a way to remove the white background in a 3D plot for exporting? or push a colored box behind the data points?

Hi,

You can set transparent back planes with the settings at Layer level as follows:

Make sure in the menu Preference: 3D OpenGL Settings... Transparency is enabled.
