I am referring to this old post here:
https://my.originlab.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3838

in short:
"When I clicked the "Pattern" tab, the options for the border are
disabled. This option is important because I don't want to see the
starting and ending vertical lines on the graphs."

the tracking ID is : QA-7577

Can someone tell me, since which version this "bug" was fixed?

sorry to write with a new account,
but it seems that i forgot my password
and there is no "reset password" function.
IF there is, would be happy to know where

so, just to understand correctly,
origin 9.1 solved the problem.
2013/10 is the release date for 9.1
The "problem" was mentioned in 2005.....

I am curious...... why so long?

and

There is no way of "getting rid of" these lines in previous versions?

Hi Joba,

The Border control is always disable for the Fill Area Under Curve option, this is by design.
But since Origin 9.1, we have add more options to fill the area under curve. If you don't want to show the starting and ending vertical lines for the filled area, you can select Fill to Base as below:

Thanks,
Shirley
