Hello!
I'm wondering if there is a way of changing the colour mapping in 3d surface plots from automatically setting the values on the z dimension.
I'd like my colour change to be due to the values on the x axis to make my data clearer. Swapping my axes so that Z and X are swapped doesn't show the data in an easy to understand way.
Thanks in advance!

Posted - 08/27/2019 : 11:33:12 AM I see, you are running Origin 2016. This option is added after Origin 2018. See below. You will have to upgrade your Origin to use this feature.

Posted - 08/27/2019 : 10:33:31 AM Thanks for replying! I've tried this but I've only got the click option for 'colormap' and then nothing happens. There is no mention of the axes in the plot details/properties windows.
Any idea where I'm going wrong?
Thanks!

Hi,
If you double click on the graph, change to Fill tab in the dialog, you can set Colormap to col(A):"X". Thanks.
