Dear Origin Community,

I have noticed than in the 2019b version the behavior of the 'Clip Data to Frame' option has changed compared to previous versions when dealing with plots containing symbols.

Now, the symbols are entirely clipped once they are completely outside of the frame whereas before only the part of a symbol that was outside of the frame was clipped.

I would like to know if there's is an easy workaround/trick to restore the 'old' behavior as I cannot reproduce many plots created with older versions.

Any help is appreciated!

Best regards,
Bogdan

Hi,

You need to change the system variable @PEC back to 1 to restore the old behavior. Please check the following page for more details.

Thanks,
James
