Origin Ver. and Service Release: Origin pro-2016
Operating System: Win 10

Hello,

I need some help with coding in Origin.

Namely, I have measured set of data in two columns, and I need to set a procedure which will automatically extract a certain number of data, calculate RMS and put them in the new cell.

For example, on the attached picture

I want to select all the cells from column C that correspond to the cells in column B with the value between 0 and 1 (1 and 2, so on), do the RMS and write the value in the new column.

All the help is appreciated!

Hi,

Use the formula below:
rms(col(B)[index(i-1,col(A),2):index(i,col(A),2)])
