Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5 SR4
Operating System: Windows XP

I use a template to import the data and would like to access the header with variables. When I use %Z at script windows, it shows correct header information. But when I use page.info.user., it shows some strange information which is not in the imported file at all. It seems some information from the file from which I created the template.

My question is, why the information in page.info. is not updated when importing the data?

Thank you for the explanation.
Probably I used import wizard to import the data and saved it as a template. Then page.info.user section is there always when I only use "import ASCII" to import other data.

page.info.user is only used when importing with the import wizard in which case the user specifies which parameters to import. In recent posts you indicate that you use Import ASCII which does not create a page.info.user section.
