I am unable to create a modified Gompertz equation within the program. Can anybody help me? The equation I want to assemble is this:
y=A.exp{-exp[B.e/A(C-t)+1]}
where, A is the maximum point of the curve, B is the tangent of the curve, e is a value constant 2.71, C is the inflection point of the beginning of the curve, and t is temp. |

Posted - 12/30/2019 : 02:04:53 AM Hi,
You can try to use "The Fitting Function Builder" to define a new fitting function. You can refer to the help pages about that: https://www.originlab.com/doc/Origin-Help/FitFunc-Builder Also, this tutorial shows a detail sample for creating a user-defined fitting function https://www.originlab.com/doc/Tutorials/UserDef-FitFunc
Addtionally,, about your function 1. If I do not misunderstand that the "." is multiplication sign, I suggest Expression Function can be changed to A*exp(-exp(B*e/A*(C-t)+1))
2. I am not sure which value is the Independent Variables by your description. But when you create the funtion, you can enter "Independent Variables ", "Dependent Variables", "Parameters" and "Constants" according to your need.
Thanks Jacqueline OriginLab
