Hi, another problem during template preparation. I imported (with the use of Import Wizard* - see comment below) multiple txt files. All files were imported to one sheet (each for a new column). Next, I prepared an analysis and save such a file. Now I would like to use Clone Import options and import other txt files to a new sheet (cloned) but when I choose: 1st file import mode: Start new sheets Multi-file import mode: Start new columns
only the first file from the new data set is imported.
However, when I chose: 1st file import mode: Start new workbooks Multi-file import mode: Start new columns everything is OK.
I need to import all my data sets into separate sheets (one workbook) so the solution with new workbook is not an option.
*I used Import wizard because it allows to specify location of variable names and values, what is not possible in impASC. Is it possible to attach file to the post? I can send this file for revision.
Thanks for help.
Kind regards, Dominik |

Posted - 02/10/2020 : 3:42:36 PM Hi Dominik,
Do you have multiple worksheets in your analysis template? If so, when you do clone import, you will have to start a new workbook in order the analysis operation run after data import. Otherwise the worksheets with analysis results will not be cloned. But I didn't see the issue that only first data file is imported if select start new sheet. You can send your analysis template and sample file to <tech@originlab.com> for us to check further. Thank you.
