The system is an XP SP3.
Origin version is 5.0 Professional.
During installation he correctly recognized the presence of Origin 4.1.
I installed it separately.
This is because the LabTalk diskette is unfortunately broken and therefore no installation.

The question is as follows:
As soon as I open Origin 5.0 I go to click:
1) File
2) Open
Does not work.
It also does not work in Save and Save as.
If I call Excel it works perfectly.
N.B .: I installed Origin 4.1 in XP and it works perfectly.
Thank you very much for your kind help.

I'm sorry but we stopped supporting Origin 4 & 5 in the 1990s.

Unfortunately our most current version does not run on Windows XP because it too is very out of date.

Perhaps, if you upgrade to Windows 10, you can try the latest version of Origin, Origin 2020.

Thanks,
Chris Drozdowski
