The Fix Scale Factors doesn't work in the new orgin 2020b. when I change the size of the graph, the font size changes as well.

Any advice. Thanks

This change was introduced back in Origin 2018b.

For the status bar to see font size, click on any text and see the left size of the status bar, it should show something like

The idea here is that people often need to take our samples as the starting point and modify and apply their own data, so resizing the page is typically needed, so in order to keep the graph looking pretty much the same after page size change, we introduced this feature to check if the size change is small, if small, then font size will not be changed, but if big, then we resize all the text so the graph will still look pretty much the same.

You can disable this feature by the system variable @PSM, see

https://www.originlab.com/doc/LabTalk/ref/sys-var-list#P.2CQ

so set @PSM = 100 will prevent the font size changing, but you will then see that sample graph look completely wrong since you reduced the page size to half of the original.

You can also read about it on this page

https://www.originlab.com/index.aspx?go=Products/Origin/2018b&pid=3289

"Scale all elements on the page when resizing in order to maintain proportional balance in the graph"

For example: here is a picture I took in the learning center

After applying a scale factor of 1 and resizing the page size: here is the result

Are you sure the font size change? Can you check what is showing on status bar?
