Hi, I would like to fit an exponential decay function to a plot with a logarithmic y-axis. I edited the range and fitted, however, from looking at the fit it has a slope that is not steep enough! It seems that it does not fit graphically but takes the numbers and therefore does not fit so good for lower y-values.. Someone told me that in an earlier version of Origin it has been possible to specify this somewhere: "Fit graphically!" Does anyone know if/how you can do that in v7.5? Regards, Bernhard

The fit may be determined for "normal" plots. So the slope may be not to your liking when you plot it in log fashion.
