Dear Origin Team,

I have produced some graphs in origin, by merging three line plots. I then drew some lines using the Line Tool.

However, when I exported the graphs, the lines were cut off when they crossed from one layer to another, as shown in the attached picture.

Therefore I wanted to ask: Please would you advise me if there is any way to avoid this issue, and have the lines in the exported graph look the same as in Origin itself?

Thanks and regards,

Conrad

Thank you so much for your quick reply, I tried the unclip data method and it worked perfectly. I will also look into updating to 2020b.

Once again I really appreciate your help.

Regards,

Conrad

Hi,

If you qualify for it, this issue is fixed in Origin 2020b.

Otherwise, try this:

1. Open Plot Details.
2. Select the layer that the line is attached to.
3. Select the Display/Speed tab.
4. Under that tab, uncheck Clip Data to Frame.

Does that help?

Thanks,
Chris Drozdowski

Hi Conrad,

I am sorry that I cannot reproduce the issue you reported. Could you please tell me how did you export the graph and which type you exported as? It will be better if you can send us the opju file you are working on for further check.

You can contact me via tech@originlab.com with the subject line Attn: Yuki.

Regards, Yuki
