Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 2019 (64-bit) 9.6.0.172
Operating System: Win10

Hey I am facing an issue concerning the import assistant.
My data is in a txt file as follows:

START
Time (s)
Temperature (°C)
Weight (mg)
0 30.0 3.4
1 30.1 3.3
2 30.2 3.3
3 30.3 3.2
.....
STOP

Import of the data is no problem. However I have no clue how to manage the import of the long names Time, Temperature and Weight into the corresponding cell since they are listed in different lines. Also the Unit which is placed in brackets are quite an issue to import.

Thank you very much, Yuki.
That was quite easy.

Hi,

I think using Import Wizard might be a litter bit easier:
1. New a workbook and select Data: Import from File: Import Wizard
2. Select the *.txt file on the first page and click Next button
3. Specify User Parameters from 1 to 3

4. Click Finish button to import data
5. Highlight the cells of long names and units and right-click to select Copy
6. Select Row(Long Name) of col(A) and right-click to select Paste Transpose

Hope it helps.

Regards, Yuki
