Origin Ver. 2018G (32-bit)
Operating System: Windows 10

Hello everyone, I have a question concerning the import of text-files.

I have a text file with a name like "sample A green non-cleaned".
Now I want to import the containig data and the resulting workbook should be named like my text file "sampleA green non-cleaned".

How do I have to proceed?
How do I have to set the import wizard for that?

Thanks to all for your help! :-)

Ben

There are settings in the older Import ASCII import routine for telling Origin to name the workbook long name after file name. They are also present in the Import wizard.

Thanks,
Chris Drozdowski
