Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 2020b
Operating System: WIN10
I have an issue where ORIGIN is pretty much unresponsive for 5-20 seconds after
- clicking items / bringin up dialog boxes for formatting in graphs
- selecting text or graph items (text/line elements)
These are not "big data" graphs and there doesn't seem to be a lot of correlation to project size. The computer has pretty good specs and runs smoothly otherwise.
Does anybody have an idea how to fix this?
This seems to have started more and more over the last few versions (I see it even in 2019) |

Just wanted to follow up on this...
Updating helped, although it was only the most recent update (Oct 2020) that gave a significant improvement. It's still not as snappy as I like it, but much more workable. |
