Posted - 10/19/2020 : 1:19:20 PM Hi, I'm using the mask cell by condtion tool set in a "Worksheet script" window. I wonder, is it possible to enable/disable the applied masks for all worksheets in the procject? Sometimes, I need to see raw data (with the masked one). Kind regards, Dominik

Posted - 10/23/2020 : 09:56:30 AM We will look into these two issues and see if we need fix. For now: 1. The issue is the operation in Book2 is not triggered when mask is disabled. You will need to click on the green lock, change parameter... to recalculate. 2. We will improve this as well. One workaround is to put your data info into column comments instead of user parameters column header.

I can not reproduce your problems. Would you mind sending us your project file so that we can further identify the problem?
You could follow the instructions below to send your file. http://www.originlab.com/index.aspx?go=Support&pid=752

Posted - 10/22/2020 : 2:41:48 PM Hi James,
Ad. 1: In is not a case. I have raw data at which I applied mask. Next, I calculated the mean and standard deviation (stats in the column) and this descriptive statistic is used for the graph. When I disable the mask, Origin recalculates the mean and other stat parameters, but did not "refresh" the graph.

Posted - 10/22/2020 : 2:08:05 PM 1. Maybe you need to press the button to hide masked data on graph.
2. Can you attach a screenshot to show the issue?
James

Ad. 2: I found the problem that if I use Categories sorting, User defined parameter is removed. Why?

Posted - 10/22/2020 : 10:47:21 AM Hi Dominik,
1. Isn't the toolbar button already did so?
2. You will have to create User Parameters column header row, and put your own parameters there.

Posted - 10/22/2020 : 08:59:19 AM I have another question, is it possible to disable mask in all workbooks/worksheets at once?
And the second question. Is it possible to fix the "Long name" of the columns obtained from the "statistics in the column"? Every time I recalculate it, the long name changes to "Mean", "Standard deviation" etc. I would like to get the parameter name here.

I thought that this function works only with graphs. Thank you.

You can find the enable/disable mask button in the lower toolbar.
