Hey guys,

I'm using OriginPro 2020b (64-bit) 9.7.5.184

I'm trying to fit a what-should-be-a parabolic relationship by using half of the parabola in the data. On the left is my attempt and on the right is my desired result (I'm trying to obtain the Z' values at the x-intercepts, where one is known and the other is extrapolated).

Best wishes,

Hi, Jason

First, you can select a range on curve and then fit with Parabola function. Please look at the video below for how to do it.
https://www.originlab.com/videos/details.aspx?id=263

Once you fit the data range, you can manully set the range of fitted curve in the NLFit dialog
