Greetings!
I want to export a graph to EPS as pure (mostly) vector (not raster), but experienced two issues: 1) the output EPS is a raster (pixelized); 2) the graph seems to be cropped and there are a lot of empty (white space).
What setting might help me to achieve my goal?
Thank you.

Could you try playing with the settings for the @EMRD system variable as documented on this page:
https://www.originlab.com/doc/LabTalk/ref/sys-var-list
It may help on the export problem in remote desktop.

My experience shows that the issue occurs only if I work with Origin via RDP connection. Can you check this out, please?

Hi Andrey,
Unfortunately, it is not safe to upload/download pdf file, you can google "is pdf safe to download", ==> "The unfortunate truth is that PDF documents can be infected with malware and/or contain viruses they spread to any system on which they are opened or interacted with. ... For example, PDFs can contain executable files such as an EXE or similar..."
You can zip the pdf files and upload.
Thanks, Andrew
Dear Andrew,
OK, I see the story about PDF. Can you allow the upload of EPS files?

I will email you the EPS file. GhostView is free, you can download from sites such as this: http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/

Hi Andrey,
I exported that graph as EPS and opened it in GhostView, and checked the menu item Options->EPS Clip and all look good to me, I don't see it rasterized when I zoom in.

Strange...
Can you share the exported EPS file, please? How do I get GhostView software?
By the way, please ask forum's administrator to allow upload both PDF and EPS files via both Upload File and Insert Image commands of the forum.

Hi Andrey,
The EPS format does not support transparency, see: https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator/losing-transparency-when-saving-ai-file-to-eps/td-p/8937874?page=1
So when the Origin graph involves transparency, the objects are exported as raster. As the legend has blocks of transparent color, the legend also ends up being raster etc.
In the Graph Export dialog, if you expand Image Settings node and then "Semi-transparent Regions", there are a few options to try, but if you want to keep the transparency, then it gets rasterized.
PDF export does not have this issue.

Dear Easwar,
Please list the vector formats that can be currently exported from Origin.
I go to Learning Center, open Parallel Plot graph, which presumably doesn't have transparency (correct me if I'm wrong), and try to export to EPS. However, when I open the resulting EPS file in Adobe Acrobat (see below) I clearly see that the EPS is still purely raster with the graph cropped from the right side and there is a lot of empty (white) space. The graph is actually located at the bottom left of a strange page. How do I fight the rasterization, graph cropping, and page dimensions?
Thank you.
