Is there a way to reorder the tick labels for categorical values on the x axis (which are automatically organized alphabetically, starting with numeric values are first)?

There are two ways to reverse the X axis direction and both work for categorical as well as non-categorical X values...

1. Select Format > Axis > X Axis and swap the From and To values.

2. Enter the command layer.x.reverse=1 in the script window. That will also swap the left and right Y axes.
