Greetings!

I want to export a graph to a vector PDF, but experienced the following issues.

1) Text export to PDF is incorrect since full-text search in the output PDF doesn't deliver the results.

2) If I open the output PDF in Adobe Acrobat, then select text and copyto Windows clipboard and paste it to a notepad I get "e p a l W i d t h" instead of "Sepal Width" (notice that the first letter is missing on copy to clipboard).

For example, try to export Parallel Plot graph from Learning Center and reproduce the listed issues.

Thank you.

Origin's PDF exporter has some problems, especially with more complicated graphs like the example "Parallel Plot".
I recommend and use for PDF or EPS export the full Adobe Acrobat package. A much cheaper solution is "pdfFactory" (https://fineprint.com/). Both programs export "Parallel Plot" flawlessly. I tested it minutes ago.

Thank you for the suggestion.
This method is pretty laborious and also requires an additional license(s) to 3rd-party software items.
For sure Origin should produce the desired plots in PDF documents correctly.

Anyway, how do I use the full Adobe Acrobat package to make a proper PDF export?

Hi, Andrey

I sent you email to further discuss the problems you met.

However, sometimes there is unexpected problem in exported EPS or PDF file. you can also consider to export graphs as EMF, open them with Adobe Illustrator and then save them as EPS/PDF. That may help.
