Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
OriginPro 2019b (64-bit)
9.6.5.169

Operating System: Win10

I am presently using Origin 2019 which saves the project in opju format by default. But I want my project to be compatible with the older versions of Origin as well. Will I lose any information or functionalities if I save the project in opj format instead of opju ?

Hello,

OPJU supports Unicode and more compact.
If your opju doesn't have new features used. Then you can save it as opj and use in older version.

But e.g. if u plot a new graph type in new version and save as opj, they may not show well in older version.

Thanks, Snow
