                Posted - 02/05/2021 : 04:48:15 AM Hello guys,
I am using Origin 2018 and would like to create a "colored 2 D scatter plot". The color of the points in this plot should be defined by a 3rd column in the workbook. In addition to that, I want to create a color scaling depending on the values located in the 3rd column. The following graph is an example graph created by a colleague using MATLAB. I want to do the same with Origin for my data. I have already tried to use Plot Details -> Symbol Color -> Index:Col(C)...to tell the program to scale to this white. Unfortunately, this did not work. Do you have an idea?
  Best regards, Locardas

If you want to map scatter color to col(C), you should try Plot Details -> Symbol Color -> Color Mapping:Col(C).
  Thanks, Amanda OriginLab Technical Service
