I want to add a trendline combining two data sets. I am using the 2D smoother app. Conceptually the piecewise linear trend line, with 3 segments would work, but Origin divides the three segments in different segments than I want. Can I fix/select the interval in which the piecewise linear trend line is conducted?

Thanks!

I think you can just run the regular NLfit by PWL3 model, and fix the xi parameters as you wish which stand for the locations of the connection points.
