I have a multiple panels plot, 4 layers, where the layers are stacked vertically. I would like for only the bottom-most plot to display the x-axis tick labels, since all plots are on the same scale and vertically aligned.
However, I am unable to accomplish this. Despite the layer axes not being linked, when I change the tick labels on any of the layers, all layers are affected. Other axis properties, such as scale, are unaffected and can be changed independently (though I don't need to do this). Only tick labels are behaving as though the layers are linked.
Thanks for any help!
