Posted - 06/25/2021 : 1:44:06 PM I recently ran a binary logistic regression in which some variables are continuous and others are binary. When looking at the output associated with each category of the categorical variables, I see that Origin does not provide results associated with each category. In other words, it has included data for some categories (e.g., coefficients, SE, Wald test, p-value), but has completely omitted other categories from the output. Is there any explanation as to why some categories are completely omitted/left out??
Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Posted - 06/25/2021 : 3:56:07 PM Ok, yes, I've done that (see attached). How do I get the results associated with 2013 when it is set as a reference factor? When 2013 is used as the reference factor level, its not included in the results output (as in my previous post). Thank you for any information. |

Posted - 06/25/2021 : 3:37:52 PM You must set year "2013" as reference factor level in the dialog. The fitted coefficients of all other years are referencing to 2013.

Posted - 06/25/2021 : 2:24:00 PM As you will see in this screen shot, the year "2013" (one of the categories in the "year" variable) is omitted in the results output; however, it is included in the input data set. Thank you.
