Posted - 06/29/2021 : 3:42:29 PM I am trying to make a contour plot (x-axis voltage (KV), y-axis time (min), and z-axis intensity)
I only have only 5 points for voltage (O, 5, 10, 15, and 20). However, when I make my contour plot. However, the contour plot is filling in at voltage points that I do not have measurements, data points I don't have like 8 or 13 KV.
Shown below is link of contour map https://my.originlab.com/ftp/forum_and_kbase/Images/Capture-min.PNG
This is the matrix that I used. 5 columns (O, 5, 10, 15, and 20) and the corresponding intensity for each row (a different time point) https://my.originlab.com/ftp/forum_and_kbase/Images/Capture1232.PNG
What should I do to resolve this issue?

Posted - 06/30/2021 : 10:49:22 AM Hi, why can't I use a contour map. Can you please explain why, and if I can why a heat map would be better?
Can you explain why I am seeing data points for contours for KV values that are not in my matrix/dataset?

Maybe you are better off with a heat map.
