Greetings!

I have X, Y and Z columns and a 3D graph.
Now I want to limit the 3D graph in X and Y.
For this I use Worksheet Query and Mask tools. However I discovered that Worksheet Query doesn't look at the masked values.

Is there a way to overcome this?

Open Plot Details.
Choose Layer1 on the left.
Go to Miscellaneous tab
Enable clipping and choose By Value to limit X and Y range.

Thanks, Snow

Hello,

At the bottom of Origin workspace, there is a mask toolbar.
U can click the click Disable Masking button (last button) and then use the Worksheet Query to include masked data in query.

Later, u can click the toolbar button again to enable mask.

Will this work for you?

Thanks, Snow

Dear Snow,

Thank you for the suggestion.

Anyway, what is the proper way in Origin to limit 3D graphs in X and Y dimensions?
