Greetings!

I work with matrix sheets, each with its own set of matrix objects.
How do I load image to a new matrix object within a specified matrixsheet?
How do I copy/move matrix objects across different matrixsheets?

Thank you.

Hi Andrey,

Once you activate the new object by clicking on its thumbnail, you can use the menu Data->Import from File->Image to Matrix...
Currently drag-and-drop does not work, we will look into that.

We will also look into adding the mcopy functionality to the gui.

Thanks,

Easwar

Hi Andrey,

You can turn on Thumbnail view (menu: View->Show Image Thumbnails, also there is MT button).
Then you can right click on a thumbnail to add a new matrix object, move the objects around within the same sheet etc.
Then you can click and select desired object and import another image.
But please note that within one matrix sheet, all objects need to have same dimension. Therefore if you import an image that is of a different size, a new sheet will be added for that image/size.

I click and select desired empty object. How do I import another image directly to the selected target matrix object?

As for copying/moving objects between sheets, you can use the script command to copy objects:

mcopy -d;

to open the mcopy dialog, then browse and select the matrix objects. Let us know if this works fine.

Great feature!
How do I call the dialog from GUI?
